Potassium trispyrazolylborate is a source of Tp ligand. Not commercially available, it may be prepared by Trofimenko's method of reacting potassium borohydride with pyrazole in the melt:[1]

KBH4 + 3 pz → KBH(pz)3 + 3 H2
